Can a 90-second film capture the priorities of an entire borough?I handled the full production, including filming, sound design, motion graphics, editing, and colour grading. The piece was shot on an iPhone 17 Pro Max and edited in Adobe Premiere Pro, taking it from capture through to final delivery.Can a 90-second film capture the priorities of an entire borough?That was the challenge behind this campaign ad I recently produced, shot and edited for the Ealing Community Independents.The goal was simple: create a clear message that resonates with residents across the London Borough of Ealing and encourages people to support a different vision ahead of the local elections.From concept to final cut, the focus was on clarity, authenticity and impact, turning local issues into a short piece of storytelling that people can connect with.I’m always interested in how creative work intersects with politics and community engagement.Curious to hear your thoughts - can a short film like this influence how people think about local issues?
Focusing on authenticity, I let the dialogue leadShot and edited by me in Southall, this piece reflects my approach to storytelling, giving space to real voices and documenting communities with honesty and intent.I created this film for Ealing Community Independents (ECI), capturing a candid conversation between Angela Fonso and a Southall resident on the realities of everyday life in their community.Focusing on authenticity, I let the dialogue lead, exploring issues like fly-tipping, traffic, and street conditions through lived experience rather than narration.
